FlipAI is an Amazon Solution Provider. Our integration with Amazon Seller Central is powered by the official Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API).
How FlipAI Connects to Amazon Seller Accounts
FlipAI integrates with Amazon using the official Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API). Sellers connect their account through Amazon's standard OAuth authorization flow on Seller Central. No passwords are ever entered into FlipAI — Amazon issues a secure, scoped access token that FlipAI uses on the seller's behalf.
What Data Is Accessed
FlipAI requests only the SP-API roles required to create and manage listings: Product Listing, Inventory & Order Tracking, and Pricing. We read existing listings to prevent duplicates, write new listings created in FlipAI, and read order/inventory status to power profit analytics. We do not access customer personal information (PII) such as buyer names, addresses, or payment details.
How Seller Data Is Protected
All Amazon access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest in our backend (Supabase) and transmitted only over TLS 1.2+. Tokens are scoped to the individual seller and are never shared across accounts. Sellers can revoke FlipAI's access at any time from Seller Central → Apps & Services → Manage Your Apps, which immediately invalidates all tokens on our side.
Amazon SP-API Compliance
FlipAI follows the Amazon Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy for SP-API developers. We log only what is necessary to operate the service, retain data for the minimum required period, and respond to data deletion requests within 30 days. We do not sell, rent, or share Amazon data with third parties.
Privacy and Data Usage
Data retrieved from Amazon SP-API is used exclusively to provide the FlipAI service to the connected seller. It is never used for advertising, model training, or analytics outside of the seller's own dashboard. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
